Temple Announcement

On April 7, 2024, President Russell M. Nelson announced plans to construct the Lehi Utah Temple at the 194th Annual General Conference. Lehi is home to Utah's growing technology region, known as Silicon Slopes. The temple is the 30th announced for Utah and will rise in northern Utah County. In 1850, pioneers first settled the city. At the time of the announcement, Utah was home to nearly 2.2 million Latter-day Saints, or nearly two-thirds of the state’s population, organized in more than 5,400 congregations.2
